SHIPPING
Web Pharmacy uses Australia Post for deliveries. Parcels will be delivered to the provided address and we require a signature on receipt. A business address for delivery may be provided if no one is home during business hours as, the parcel cannot be left unattended. If no one is home to sign for the parcel, a card will be left detailing the nearest Australia Post outlet where the parcel can be collected.

Parcels will be plain and unmarked for privacy and security. They will be dispatched as soon as payment and prescriptions (where required) have been received. Delivery is within 2 days to most parts of Australia.

This service allows delivery to most countries in 3-4 business days with online tracking and signature on delivery.

Estimated Delivery Times(After dispatch)
Web Pharmacy will dispatch on the same day the order is received providing the order is received before 11.00am (EST) and goods are in stock. All other orders will be dispatched the next business day (provided the item is in stock in Australias major drug wholesalers). Prescriptions will be dispensed and dispatched the same day the actual prescription is received.

Web Pharmacy accepts MasterCard, Visa, Bankcard, American Express, and Diner's Club.
Web Pharmacy use Secure Server certificate (SSL) technology to ensure customers' security.
Web Pharmacy uses the EWAY Internet Gateway Service. This system uses the best security methods and practises. All credit card numbers are housed within the secure environment of MasterCard’s and Visa’s Australian Processing Centre. Web Pharmacy do not record a copy of the your credit card details.

Fax/post orders
Web Pharmacy will accept money orders or bank cheques via this method, as well as the above credit card options.

Credit Policy

Any faulty or damaged stock will be replaced at no charge provided damage was not caused by purchaser.
Prescription lines ordered incorrectly by patient cannot be refunded or returned (it is illegal)
All other lines ordered incorrectly by customer, can be refunded if informed within 7 days of dispatch and unopened on return. Postage will be paid for by customer and a 9% administration charge will apply.

PRIVACY
No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the web server's logs.
NO information collected will otherwise be given to 3rd parties. We will not sell or trade any personal information we collect about you and all information is held with password protection to avoid unauthorized access. All documentation that requires disposal that contains personal information will be shredded. All cd’s, hard drives and/or other mass storage devices containing personal information will be kept in an approved safe with documented log in procedures for access to the devices. Should the devices require transport, they will be transported using secure means such as armaguard or other approved methods.

Why do we require Patient Profiles to be entered on particular products?
It is important for us at Web Pharmacy to be confident that the medication you are taking will not be harmful to your health. By giving us your patient profile, you ensure that we are able to determine that all medications you take are compatible with other diseases you have or medications you may be taking.

I no longer wish to be on your database. What can I do?
Just email us with your password and we will delete you from our records. Please do not ask for your history once we have deleted you-we cannot recover the information.

PRESCRIPTIONS
Australias public healthcare system differentiates what certain people must pay for their prescriptions. These are explained below:

NHS

Those prescriptions listed as National Health Scheme (NHS) prescriptions have their prices set by the government and under current legislation cannot be discounted. Prescription Record Form (PRF) stickers will be supplied with all NHS prescriptions and Safety Net Totals will be kept for patients. Where no price appears in the NHS field, the prescription is only available as a Private Prescription. NHS prescription are the most common.

Private Prescriptions

Prescriptions not subsidised by the government are deemed “private”. You must pay for these entirely on your own (without the help of the government).
If you are with a health fund, you may use your receipt to possibly claim some reimbursement.

Concession Cards
(Pensioners, Health Care & Veteran Affairs card holders, CN card holders)

Concession cardholders will pay $4.70 for most NHS prescriptions. A government surcharge may occur if you chose a more expensive brand but can be avoided by selecting the generic equivalent when prompted.

SN Card Holders

Patients eligible for SN cards will not be charged for NHS prescriptions (unless government surcharges apply). These patients will not be charged for postage or handling where SN prescriptions are included in their orders. When the item is not a NHS prescription, private prices will apply.

Important – All entitlement card recipients must provide photocopies of cards with first order to prevent fraud

If you hold an SN Card, just purchase the item you require at the concession price. We will immediately refund your money once we have your SN card details. If you chose a medication with a brand premium, we will refund the full amount minus this brand premium.

Safety Net

If you and your family require large amounts of National Health Scheme prescriptions in any one-year, a Safety Net threshold exists to protect you financially. Once this threshold is reached you can apply for a Safety Net card enabling you to receive NHS prescriptions at cheaper or no cost. A family can include:
· A spouse or de facto spouse
· Children under 16 in your care; and
· Full-time dependent students under 25.
To be eligible for the Safety Net, you must keep a total of your NHS prescription expenditure. As individual pharmacies are not linked, records are only kept for prescriptions dispensed in each pharmacy. At WebPharmacy we will keep records of all NHS prescriptions dispensed by us for Safety Net purposes. If you use different pharmacies (including hospital pharmacies) you should keep your own prescription record form.

Safety Net Threshold
The levels for 2006 are:

General Patients: $960.10*- a safety net card will be issued allowing NHS prescriptions to be charged at $4.70* each for the rest of the calendar year

Concession Card Holders (pensions, health care card, veteran affairs etc) 54
prescriptions - a safety net card will be issued allowing NHS prescriptions
to be free* for the rest of the calendar year.

*These figures are adjusted annually and do not include a surcharge for the more expensive alternative brands/medicines.

Repeats

If you wish, we will keep your repeats on file and they will be immediately sent once an order is placed and payment processed. We can even remind you when you are due for your next prescription and alert you if a repeat is going to expire.

Restrictions

Only prescriptions written by registered Australian Doctors can be dispensed. Refrigerated lines and Dangerous Drugs (s8) will not be supplied. Pharmacist Only Medication (s3) requires a prescription to be supplied. Overseas customers can purchase products except prescription lines.
Due to government regulations, faxes or emails of prescriptions cannot be dispensed.
We have absolute discretion in refusing a sale or prescription.

Generics

If an Australian made brand or less expensive brand is available we will ask you if you wish to substitute.
Web Pharmacy can assure the quality is EXACTLY the same as the more expensive brand, since the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has deemed them to be substitutable. In many cases the same company makes both brands!

Once you have chosen a prescription, clicking "Details" will often show the availability of a generic substitute.

Pricing Errors
Should an item be list at a price that is incorrect, we reserve the right to cancel the order. We will however notify you of the error and the correct price, in case you may wish to purchase at the correct price.
