Q. Why do some items need prescriptions when I usually get them over the counter at my local pharmacy?
A. All “pharmacist only medication” requires personal counselling by a pharmacist. As Internet and mail order pharmacy does not provide this, a prescription will enable a Doctor to provide appropriate counselling.
If you phone and speak directly with one of our pharmacists, you may be entitled to the medication without a prescription.
Q. What happens if I am not at home when my order is delivered?
A. We use a registered mail system. If you are not home, a card will be left indicating that the item has been left at your nearest postoffice.
Q. How long will my order take to get to me?
A. Orders are sent out same day if placed before 11am.
Metro delivery is usually 1-2 days and country areas usually take 2-4 days.
Note: Prescription items are sent once we receive your prescription.
Can I fax my prescription?
No, the law says we need the original.
Q. Can I order prescription items if I don’t live in Australia?
A. Yes, but you will pay the full private price. You will also need an Australian prescription.
Q. Can I order through Web Pharmacy without the Internet?

A. Just email us. But remember we send out same day. Orders that have been sent cannot be cancelled without postage being paid for.
Q. Is it safe to use my credit card?
A. We use a secure encrypted site and do not record any of your card details.
Q. Can I keep my repeat prescriptions with Web Pharmacy?
A. Yes, just attach a note to your prescriptions asking us to do so. Next time you order we can send the item straight out instead of waiting to receive your script.
Q. Can I phone and talk directly to a pharmacist?
A. Yes, we have a pharmacist available from 8.30am to 7pm Mon. to Fri. Phone 02 99814470.

A. Yes, you may put as many profiles as you like on each account.

A. Just call or email us.
Q. Why do some prescription items have four different prices?
A. Depending on your status the government will designate you either a NHS patient, Private patient, Concession patient or Safety Net patient. There is a price for each status.
Q. Why can I only order one lot of an NHS item at a time?
A. Because the government pays for part or all of these prescriptions, they exercise a right over how often you can get the medication. This period varies for different medications, but the period is most commonly 21 days. Items dispensed before this time interval cannot be covered under the NHS except in special circumstances. If you are going on holidays, advise your Doctor when he is writing the prescription and you may then be able to get more than one lot at a time.
Q. Can I return prescription medicine for a refund?
A. No. It is illegal.
Can I get a "pharmacist only medcine", without a prescription?

Q. Can I get my order without paying freight or shipping charges?
A. Only if your order contains a NHS prescription or is valued over $150.
Q. Will I get a professional service?
A. ll products are dispensed from a quality care approved pharmacy that undergoes stringent standards checks.
Q. What about overseas customers, can we order as normal?
A. Yes, but we will not send any prescription item, without an AUSTRALIAN prescription. We also cannot send items that are illegal in your country. |
